Maisy was an alternative rock band from Orlando, Florida, formed at UCF in 2023.

The band mixed fuzzy guitars, melodic noise, and heavier alt-rock songwriting, pulling from bands like Smashing Pumpkins, Dinosaur Jr., Mannequin Pussy, and the Orlando DIY scene around them. Their sound blended shoegaze, emo, punk, and alternative rock, with loud guitars, catchy melodies, and live shows that felt tense and cathartic.

Maisy’s run was short, but the band left a mark on the local scene. After it ended, many of its members continued into other influential Orlando projects, carrying parts of Maisy’s sound and energy into the next wave of local bands.
